What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, abbreviated CBD, is an ingredient of the hemp plant. The parts of the plant from which CBD is extracted are the flowers and leaves of female hemp. However, it is important to note that CBD, unlike THC, does not have a psychoactive effect, i.e. it cannot cause a change in consciousness. Many of our customers use CBD for pain, sleeping problems or stress.

Which concentration is best for my situation?

The most suitable CBD concentration is very individual and depends on the application area and the dosage of the product. If the area of application is mild sleep problems, we would recommend a 5% – 10% CBD oil, if it is for the treatment of severe pain we would rather recommend 15%.

How often and how much of the CBD oil should I take?

The exact dosage of our products is very individual, as every body can react differently to CBD. Furthermore, the dosage also depends on the application area and the CBD concentration of the product. Most of our customers start with 5 drops twice a day and then increase the dosage if necessary. However, it is also possible to use our products according to the situation (e.g. during a migraine attack).

How does CBD work in the body?

CBD is absorbed through the mucous membrane and binds to the CB1 and CB2 receptors. Every mammal has these receptors from birth. By binding to these receptors, the release of certain hormones is inhibited and stimulated by other hormones. These hormones are said to be responsible for the sensation of stress, fear or pain.

Can I take CBD during pregnancy?

Even though we are not aware of any studies showing that CBD has negative effects on pregnant women, we advise against taking CBD during pregnancy as a precautionary measure.

What are typical complaints where CBD is used?

Many of our customers use CBD for acute or regular pain, such as migraine or menstrual pain. Our CBD oil is also frequently used for sleep problems. Furthermore, many report that our CBD drops have helped them with anxiety disorders and stress, such as exam stress. Also people with inflammatory diseases and athletes often use CBD drops in the hope of fighting inflammation.

Should I take the oil permanently or acutely?

You can take our oil both for acute complaints and for regular complaints. For example, we have many customers* who take CBD for acute stress, headaches or sleeping problems. But also in case of regularly occurring pain many customers* use our CBD products.

How should I store CBD oil?

We recommend to store the oil in a cool and dry place. It is also possible to store the oil in the refrigerator. However, this is not absolutely necessary.

Is CBD legal in Germany?

It is possible to purchase CBD legally in Germany. However, the legal situation is somewhat difficult, as cannabidiol is an active substance that is found in the cannabis plant. Cannabis itself falls under the narcotics law. The Narcotics Law states that cannabis is prohibited. EU certified cannabis varieties are excluded. These have a THC content of less than 0.2%. And this hemp is also used to make our CBD products, which are therefore legal.

Can you take CBD and then drive?

In general, CBD does not have a mind-expanding effect and therefore does not lead to difficulties when driving a car. There is no known case where someone has lost his driving licence due to CBD consumption.
