What is CBD and how does it work?
CBD is short for cannabidiol, a substance extracted from the cannabis plant. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is not psychoactive – meaning it doesn't get you "high."
CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is part of the nervous system in humans and animals and can be seen as a communication hub between the body and the brain. The ECS is involved in a variety of bodily processes – including pain, mood, and sleep.
How do I dose CBD correctly?
Which CBD oil concentration and dosage is best suited for you depends on various personal factors as well as the area of application. A rule of thumb for starting CBD intake is: "start low, go slow!". It's best to slowly approach the right dosage and increase it little by little until the desired effect is achieved. Our CBD oil dosage table can give you an initial guide. It's best to drip CBD drops directly under your tongue with the pipette. Let the CBD oil work there briefly. This way, the oil can be ideally absorbed through your mucous membranes and distributed throughout the body.
What is full-spectrum CBD oil?
Full-spectrum CBD oil contains the full spectrum of natural cannabinoids (such as CBD and THC), terpenes, and other compounds found in the hemp plant. The so-called entourage effect fully occurs here, as all ingredients work together and can create synergistic effects. In simple terms: the plant as a whole achieves a better effect than its isolated components alone.
