Other cannabinoids include Cannabinol (CBN), Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabichromene (CBC), and Cannabidivarin (CBDV). Each cannabinoid has potentially different effects on the body.
Terpenes: Terpenes are aromatic compounds responsible for the characteristic smell and taste of the hemp plant. They are also found in many other plants. Terpenes such as myrcene, limonene, pinene, and caryophyllene can also have therapeutic effects and contribute to the entourage effect. Full-spectrum CBD oil contains the full spectrum of natural cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds found in the hemp plant, including THC (usually below the legal limit of 0.2% in most countries). Broad-spectrum CBD oil also contains the full spectrum of cannabinoids and other compounds of the hemp plant, but completely without THC. We have therefore decided to offer exclusively full-spectrum CBD oils that provide the complete entourage effect.
Caution with CBD oils for animals
Some animals can tolerate CBD oil with the entourage effect, which means CBD oil from full-spectrum hemp extracts. In fact, some pet owners have had positive experiences with using full-spectrum CBD oils where the entourage effect plays a role. The entourage effect can also help animals achieve a wider range of therapeutic effects and increase the potential for improved efficacy.
Nevertheless, it is important to note that every animal is an individual and may react differently to CBD products. Some animals may be more sensitive to certain ingredients, and it is possible that they may not tolerate the entourage effect well.
Cats, in particular, do not tolerate oils that contain terpenes. Their metabolism processes full-spectrum CBD oils too slowly and can excrete them only with great difficulty, which can then lead to poisoning! We have therefore decided to produce our CBD oil for animals completely without terpenes.
