What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound derived from hemp plants, known for its health benefits. It interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS), which regulates sleep, mood, and pain. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is known for its psychoactive effects, CBD does not cause a "high."
Cannabis encompasses both hemp and cannabis plants. Hemp, often referred to as industrial hemp, contains low levels of THC (under 0.3%) and high levels of CBD, and is used for CBD products as well as for food and textiles. Cannabis plants, often called marijuana, have a higher THC content and are used for their intoxicating effects.

How do I properly dose and use CBD oil?
Which CBD oil concentration and dosage is best suited for you depends on various personal factors as well as the area of application.
A general rule of thumb for starting CBD intake is: "start low, go slow!" It's best to gradually increase the dose until the desired effect appears. Our CBD oil dosage chart can give you a first indication.
It's best to drip CBD drops directly under your tongue using the pipette. Let the CBD oil absorb there briefly. This way, the oil can be ideally absorbed through your mucous membranes and distributed throughout the body.
