Do you only buy organic? Is healthy eating important to you? Or does it just have to taste good? No matter what it is – if you are aware of what you consume and pay attention to your diet, then you should also not neglect what goes into your glass.
It may feel like a burden to think about health when pouring yourself a beer after work or that supposedly hard-earned gin and tonic – a cheeky drink is supposed to help you recover from the stresses of everyday life.
Fortunately, there are a variety of alternatives to alcoholic drinks that still serve up all the bliss of an ice-cold beverage. We got together with nuechtern.berlin in a good new social distancing manner, and they exclusively created CBD-infused drinks for us. We present two of them below.
This non-alcoholic cocktail with CBD oil provides a feeling of relaxation with pure plant power. For this non-alcoholic cocktail with CBD oil, the two were inspired by the Americans. With the difference that they chose the non-alcoholic version.
Anyone who paid attention in chemistry knows that oil and water don't mix. Unless you add an emulsifier. In this recipe, the egg white acts as a natural emulsifier, allowing the CBD oil to mix with the liquids. You can also use honey or syrup as natural emulsifiers.
What you need for the CBDuraFizz:
50 ml non-alcoholic gin (e.g. the non-alcoholic alternative to gin from Laøri)
25 ml lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
25 ml strawberry puree (or juice)
1 egg white
5 drops CBD oil 10%
Ice cubes
Add all ingredients - except the ice - one after the other to the shaker. Now it's time to shake vigorously! For at least 10 seconds. Then add the ice cubes and give the drink a final shake. Strain the finished CuraFizz into a martini glass.
For this non-alcoholic cocktail, the two from nuechtern.berlin used our full-spectrum CBD oil 10%.
With some cocktails, it's easy to lose track due to the multitude of different ingredients. The Daiquiri, however, is not one of them. It limits itself to a minimum of ingredients – but scores with a maximum of taste.
Especially among rum-based cocktails, the Daiquiri is an all-time classic. Due to its composition, the Daiquiri belongs to the Sours. Usually, white rum is used. However, since the selection of non-alcoholic alternatives is currently limited, the two from nuechtern.berlin opted for the non-alcoholic rum from Fluère for the CBDaiquiri.
The Daiquiri owes its name to a small Cuban village about 25 kilometers from Santiago de Cuba. Probably the most famous Daiquiri fan was Ernest Hemingway. Since we unfortunately do not possess Hemingway's genius and our passion for CBD is greater than for alcohol, this fabled cocktail is now mixed non-alcoholic, but with a twist.
A non-alcoholic Daiquiri with CBD oil – a CBDaiquiri, in other words. It is perfect for the upcoming mild summer nights that demand a cool drink that tastes like the Caribbean.
What you need for the CBDaiquiri:
50 ml non-alcoholic rum
30 ml lime juice
20 ml sugar syrup
5 drops CBD oil 10%
Ice cubes
Add the non-alcoholic rum, lime juice, sugar syrup, and ice to the shaker one after another. Now it's time to shake vigorously! Strain the finished non-alcoholic Daiquiri into a pre-chilled cocktail glass – or simply into any other glass you have on hand.
The cocktail is served "straight up," meaning without ice. You add the CBD oil at the end. Simply place the drops on the cocktail as you like. However, you should note that the oil and the drink will not mix, and you will therefore drink the oil first. The appearance makes up for it.
